I recently met with Rodney and Candyys outside The Yellow Bird in downtown Hamilton for a session. Their kids were a bit skeptical of the whole endeavor at first, but we were quickly able to form a relationship and capture some delightful images- Millie running down the street, baby Maverick’s heart-winning smile, and the whole family together. I love shooting in urban environments, picking up on the flavor of the city streets and the families who love them. That added layer of context provides extra richness to the final images.
